Pixar Style Animation - WINE-Y

This is an experimental film exploring different rendering techniques reflecting on the same development Pixar and other early pioneers went through.

Its both documentary and entertainment. The wireframe look was very common in the early days and perhaps now it has again a more interesting appeal, since the only thing we see these days is the finished result.

Further more the animation is inspired by John Lasseter's Luxor Jr animation, which was a millstone and probably the birth of cinematic 3D-animation.

This is the practical part of my thesis about the influence of 3D-animation on traditional animation.

I can say with confidence that this its the best animation and rendering result I have achieved so far and that it very well reflects my dissertations subject.
